The Workmen Injury Benefits Act 2007 is a combination of Group Personal Accident cover (GPA) and WIBA. Its intended purpose is to offer employers a single insurance solution for all employees. It covers all the work environmental risks associated with accidents. The risks covered also include off-work duties.
WIBA, benefits under the GPA plan are payable in multiple years, for example, 3, 6, or 8 years.
